Breastmates – High Peak

Walks for Mums

All walks will start at a cafe, restaurant or pub that has been contacted in advance and is happy to have breastfeeding mothers. Some have baby changing facilities. If the weather is bad, meet up for coffee and a chat instead. There are two walks per week, one pram-friendly and one suitable for baby carriers only. If you’re running late and still want to join a walk, contact me at the number above and we’ll wait for you.

Prampushers and Breastmastes - Babies 0- 12 months - Romiley - Prampushers & Breastmates have had to move from the Guywood Centre to the coffee lounge @.St.Chad’s Church on Church Lane in Romiley. This will be for a least the next 3 - 4months due to the building having major renovation work.

Just a short note to let you know that the breastfeeding group is moving From Romiley Health Centre to The Guywood Centre on Guywood Lane on starting on 21st April.

The group has outgrown the room size at the Health Centre.
The new group will not only offer Breastfeeding advice & support, (between 10am & 11am) but will also be an early parenting group offering advice on various subjects each week.

Refreshments will be available at the Group, there is a voluntary contribution Of £1.00 per. week.

Buddies and Breastmates - Bredbury/Woodley

You are invited to the opening day At the New Children’s Centre Redhouse Lane Bredbury ( opposite St. Marks school) On Monday 20th April Between 10.00 - 12.00

Come along to find out what the new group will be offering parents in the area. Breastfeeding advice & support from the health visiting team will be available each week. The group will provide early days parenting skills in weaning, sleeping, First aid, baby resuscitation, play & music sessions & baby massage.

Everyone attending the open day will receive a ‘Free’ gift
